Financing in Bulgarian IT Forum will target Bulgarian entrepreneurs in the IT sector and venture capitalists, institutional investors, corporate investors and limited partners. The Bulgarian IT sector is particularly strong, since a highly skilled, relatively inexpensive workforce has led a number of global companies to outsource software research, design and production, as well as related services, in Bulgaria. In turn, this has meant that in the last few years a wealth of companies/entrepreneurs have started up or have sought to change their models and develop their own products (over 1,100 companies in Bulgaria). We feel this is a great opportunity to hold such a conference, and bring together the community with view to an issue that would be particularly pressing for many of them.
The Forum aims to:
- Offer guidance to entrepreneurs in the IT sector on the financing options available to them
- Offer a series of networking opportunities for all participants
- Examine the latest opportunities and sectors for growth
- Feature showcase pitches by successful companies
- Provide a comparative perspective, with speakers from a range of backgrounds sharing their expertise

- Fundraising in the IT sector: An Overview
- Guidance to entrepreneurs: how to prepare
- The role of business angels and early stage venture capital specialists
